Originally posted by Unregistered View PostEven before he sat down in the Oval Office, Trump claimed that he had been on the phone with Boeing and chopped down that big number. It was a claim he repeated several times in his first few months in office—his go-to example of his negotiating skills.
Trump: We've got that price down by over $1 billion and I probably haven't spoken for more than an hour on the project,
However, within a few weeks, the White House website had chopped Trump savings from “over a billion” to “millions.” And now, Donald Trump has completed his negotiations, coming up with a new price of … $3.9 billion. That’s right. After two years of negotiation, Donald Trump’s price is a billion dollars higher than where he started. No wonder everyone loves to negotiate with Trump.
According to USA Today, Trump is claiming that the new contract saved either “$1.5 billion” or “$1.4 billion” over the original contract. Except it doesn’t. The original contract was actually the $2.87 billion figure. The $3.73 billion was a projected cost running forward to 2026 and anticipating inflation and cost overruns. Trump has now reset the base value to $3.9 billion. Nowhere did anyone project any kind of number that would make Trump’s $3.9 billion a “savings.”
Trump has actually raised the cost of this project by over $1 billion.

the baker wasnt anti gay,as he had served the couple before -he just had a problem with one request theats his right to refuse work, and your right to refuse to shop his goods

I find the disturbing that this principle is being rejected. Bad business, bad for ethics.

1099s. An earner reports 1099 income, the payer remits documentation to IRS. The IRS matches the income of the earner to expense of the payer. That way IRS is able to control cheating.

More fakenews
According to the New York Times, two weeks prior to the Presidential Inauguration in Jan. 2017, Donald Trump was shown raw evidence including data and text messages about the Russian hack and that Vladimir Putin knew about it. He has since been trying to cloud the evidence for reasons still not yet know.
The Times says Trump “was shown highly classified intelligence” proving Putin had personally ordered the cyberattacks to sway the 2016 American election. “The evidence included texts and emails from Russian military officers and information gleaned from a top-secret source close to Mr. Putin, who had described to the C.I.A. how the Kremlin decided to execute its campaign of hacking and disinformation.”
At the time, Trump “sounded grudgingly convinced,” according to several who attended the briefing. Since then, Trump has taken another tactic that calls into question both his judgement and his reasons for continuing to kowtow to Russia over American national security.
“The shifting narrative underscores the degree to which Mr. Trump regularly picks and chooses intelligence to suit his political purposes. That has never been more clear than this week,” The Times wrote.

Mariia is in jail tonight.....
Russian operative Maria Butina was denied bail today, ensuring she’ll remain in jail as the legal process plays out against her; she’s pleaded not guilty. But while that was somewhat expected, as she’s a potential flight risk to Russia, the court filing in support of denying her bail makes some stunning new accusations about how she went about gathering intel for Russia – and it may be about to blow back on a whole lot of Republican Party politicians and operatives.
The court filings make two key allegations about Maria Butina. The first is that she was in regular contact with Russia’s FSB, meaning that she was allegedly acting as a Russian spy while interacting with various political figures in the United States. The second is that she’s alleged to have been in a sexual relationship with a Republican Party operative who was twice her age, even as she offered sex to other U.S. political operatives in exchange for political access – and she was apparently reporting all of this back to the Kremlin.
These new allegations arrive within the context of Butina having met publicly and privately with a very long list of U.S. political figures, including NRA leaders and prominent Republican office holders. Just because any given politician took a selfie with Butina, it doesn’t mean that anything salacious or treasonous took place between them. But now that the Feds are presenting evidence that Butina’s methods included offering sex in exchange for political favors, it stands to reason that we’re going to see some very ugly details come out about at least some of the Republican politicians she was interacting with.

I hope she gets the Electric chair. I’m pretty peed off to know my NRA donations somehow helped this slut.
