And the Pentagon placed limits on them, not wanting to look like the same overkill with BLM. It was an epic mistake. I know Capitol police have also come under fire, but consider that Trumpers have had two other rallies since November that were both flops - a few bar fights and stabbings but both barely attended and no impact. They wrongly assumed this would be similar.

Just because people like you and chucky and nance don't like the president's response does not mean that hurt feelings and feigned disgust can be used as a reason...he has 12 more days and he will finish those 12 days no matter how many people give meaningless resignations at this point...all they are doing is making things more difficult for the transition.
