Biden was a senator and VP, not in a true leadership position. He enjoys tremendous popularity among African Americans not just because of Obama but also from policies when he was in Congress. Bernie does better with Hispanics than Biden but not to the same degree as Biden with AA.

Despite AA doing better from the general economy, Trump support remains incredibly low among them and they still think he's a racist. Many are lower income/working poor that will be hit very hard if the economy tanks from Covid.
