Shutting down again, puts my wife and kids in danger. Financially, socially, health wise, etc... We cannot shut down again. Those elderly and vulnerable will simply need to be smart about their daily routine.
The virus is here and it simply isn't going anywhere at the moment. We need to be smart. But i don't want my babies growing up in a box/bubble. They are missing out big time right now. Fortunately, i have been lucky and haven't been laid off, many people cant say that.
We need to move forward, be smart, get back to some kind of normal. There are way more people that feel that way vs. We need to shut down again. For those that are scared, that's fine, just stay home and be quiet while the rest of us continue living.

We don't have to shut down if people do the right things - mask up, limit socializing/distance etc. Don't send your kids to school sick. Don't go to work if you're sick. Don't let your kids have big parties like those idiot parents in MA. Don't have big parties yourself.
Life won't be "normal" for awhile, but we can have it kind of normal. If numbers stay low then some restrictions will be eased, but they never will be if cases go up. Just be smart. I don't think that's too much to ask.

F That. Read the constitution. No pandemic exception.
Fight back to get back to normal.
The idea that we need to justify returning to normal is crap.
No more nanny state.

govt has never and will never give up any power it acquires- name one time it has
the constitution limits the power of the govt, and they have been clawing to get more of it since the day it was signed
funny how you cant go to work to to public safety yet you can riot with no public safety concerns

The more the virus goes away
The more restrictions and tyranny ramp up
If the citizens don’t push back on the government overstepping its authority
The government will keep doing it until there are consequences
Remember nazi Germany. Everything was “for your safety”

Limit social interactions as much as possible especially with people you don't know. That is all anyone is really asking.

The CV response was always doomed because of the Democrats view of the role of government.
Republicans view government as a necessary evil. The less the better.
Democrats view government as GOD. Government takes care of the people completely.
Democrats were never going to allow something like this to take place and not insert themselves to micromanage all aspects of life.
I pray there are enough smart voters in the swing states to stop the liberal/socialist coup

you can see the numbers as well as anyone else- -this is a power play and the govt certainly took the power- the fact they killed their cities is just starting to dawn on them
the people who left ,can afford to live elsewhere and they are doing just that
drove through Litchfield yesterday- looked like scarsdale with all the NY plates
the people who are still there cant leave even if they want to- but those arent the people that bankroll your cities

Horrible, awful nanny state that requires all those things to protect you and others. How can you go on living? Wearing a mask is just a bridge too far?

Fine I wear a mask.
Do you really believe there is not a “next step”?
What is a bridge to far?
Vaccine? Mandated?
Even after a vaccine you can’t take the mask off because vaccine is only ? 60% effective
Ok then what is next?
Micro chip to track people?
Police state like China for tracking people with facial recognition
Maybe an app on your phone to gain entry to a store based on your medical history
Where does it end? The virtue of the mask sounds great.
We want to protect each other.
There is a cost, it is not free.
There will be just one more thing, just one more thing.
There is no exit strategy because they don’t want it to ever end.
It is just a mask.
But what is next.

External forces. BS
Try enemies. That is people. Not a virus.
Government protect us from enemies foreign & domestic
Virus is not an enemy.
Health is not guaranteed like life, liberty, or pursuit of happiness
This is a fatal flaw of the DNC.
Health Care is a commodity not a right.
BTW - why will no one release a study of the effectiveness of mask. I have seen hundreds of studies on CV 19 but not one on mask and effectiveness. That makes me wonder. This is not April, by now we should have real studies.
