I agree with above that by the time GDA came along they kind of had to join because they couldn't get ECNL even if they wanted it. They needed something to compete on. And initially GDA seemed like it would take off, until it started falling back to earth within the first year. As long as GAL stays afloat so will OW. Thriving? Maybe not so much, but doing ok.
