So, to dispel all rumors, OAKWOOD AND DA are NOT CHEAPER than Sporting (or much else for that matter).

You are living in the past. 2 years ago and earlier it used to be cheaper but US Soccer has pushed all cost onto clubs and it has sent their prices skyrocketing. Add in cra-cra travel for OW and Sporting is MUCH cheaper.

from your link:
U8 & U9 Academy Package - $150-175
Includes: 1 x Nike Game Jersey, 1 x Shorts, 2 x Nike Tiempo Practice Tees, 2 x Socks
Again, I like sporting but just because you say it is cheaper doesn't make it so. Next time try using facts or at least read what is written and understand the links you are posting do not validate the statements in your argument.

The uniform package price listed on your website is wrong as well. You cannot buy just what is listed. You don't get the option when you purchase from Team Sports, you have to buy the complete package that includes the bag, warm up pants, 3 game jerseys (it was $75 for a yellow game jersey that is never used) etc. But even if you do get to buy the uniform package at the price listed in your link (which you can't) how is $1850 + $175 for uniform + $225 for camp for a total of $$2250 "MUCH" cheaper than $2400? And again you can't purchase the uniform kit required for less than $500. If you only have one game jersey what will you do when your team switches from a black jersey to white jersey?

Oakwood U10: $2,600 + Raffle + dance tickets + Volunteering = ~$2.750 + volunteer hours ......
Sorry, which is cheaper? Is my math off, homer?
Oakwood costs substantially more than Sporting across the board and it isn't close. Add in travel costs and the difference is through the roof especially at U13 and up.

And you didn't address the fact that Oakwood practices at minimum 1x more a week, plays more games and doesn't have the rain-out issues Sporting has to deal with.
I am trying to be straight and you are trying to confuse by not telling all the facts.
This isn't a knock on Sporting. The U10 coach I think is one of the best so in my mind you get what you pay for and you are getting great coaching for what you pay. It just ain't cheaper "MUCH" cheaper than Oakwood.
