CFC girls u13 team goes to FC Delco tournament this weekend and doesn’t win a game. Loses to 1 EDP team and ties another. Looks like all the big 3 CT clubs’ top teams get exposed when they chose to play teams outside of their league.

Across the board, both genders, check the OPI results. Academy soccer not what it used to be. If Oakwood was wise they would stop exposing themselves by playing local teams. Oakwood is a pittance of what they used to be 10 years ago.

They've had two wins and a tie this spring - not great - and are 5-7-1 for the year. FSA same age is 2-11-1. Yes being a branch only team does matter. Track this team the next few years and you'll see. Doesn't mean they'll suddenly become #1 but they'll do just fun and most definitely better than FSA, who tends to bring in very few outsiders despite the obvious need.
