Camp invites are not a reason to chose a club. Great for the unicorns, but the lousy coaching and help with recruiting doesn't serve the rest of the team members well

FC Stars placed 2 players, NEFC 2 and STA 4. So 9 girls from NJ, and 4 from MA....why no CT players?

I could care less how many invites a club gets as I know for certain my kid isn't that caliber. What the club will do for her development and college aspirations is what I care about. OW fawns over their stars and no one else.

Not necessarily. Those players will gravitate to where they see the best opportunities. Up until last May that was GDA because of the USSF umbrella. It doesn't mean those clubs are doing a better or worse job developing them. Most started their development elsewhere. Their skills are partly natural gifts plus their own determination and hard work.

You're stupid. The only reason GDA got soaby ever was because USSF was trying to force it's will on everyone and make ECNL pay to get GDA off the ground. In their 2 or 3 short years they did nothing but weaken girls soccer ..... Same as they have done for 12 years in the boys side. Since year 1 GDA hemorhagged their top teams. It was never a force to strengthen or consolidate anything.

Believe me I'm no GDA proponent and I think we both agree that USSF was strong arming NT prospects to join. Whether or not they remain there after this year is another question. GAL is sinking like a stone. No matter how good you are, playing weak competition isn't helping you

I would go to the club that appreciates my kids talent and potential for further development, and she gets to play a lot. Isn't that what it's all about?
