Hey park guy are the portable toilets being emptied at Oakwood or not? Are they just going to let the poop flow

Oakwood games V SUSA are on YouTube:

              Results:
              U16 (2005): OW 3 - SUSA 2
              U17 (2004): OW 1 - SUSA3
              U18 (2003): OW 1- SUSA3 (first half only)

              Video Assessment:
U16 (2005): Fairly back and forth game, SUSA was up 2-0 at the half, OW came back late after SUSA goalie was injured and taken out. No clear dominate team performance on either side.
U17 (2004): OW got an early goal but then SUSA controlled and dominated the game afterwards. SUSA put on a passing and possession clinic with a mix of direct play at points. SUSA was an impressive team in this game. OW defense looked frazzled.
U18 (2003): OW had trouble getting the ball on their offensive half. A lot of backward passing. SUSA made some impressive counter attacks.

The good thing about GAL is now there will be more GAL v ECNL friendlies versus the DA days where it was frowned upon. As another poster said it's true that SUSA 05 is not that strong in the NE ECNL standings while SUSA's 04 and 03 are near the top. Given this data point (and hopefully more to come) its clear OW teams would fair similar to FSA in the Northeast ECNL across age groups.

I think DA and ECNL friendlies always occurred but you will notice that it always seems to be teams that are far enough away to not be any impact to each other in terms of competition for kids. So Oakwood will friendly against SUSA but never against CFC. The clubs definitely still hide from each other (and I put that on people from both league's, not just one).

SUSA is not a top club in the Northeast ECNL. Only been in for two years. Solid Long Island club that has done very well.

As a total club they aren't in the discussion with Stars, PDA and Penn Fusion. Most SUSA teams are getting hammered by those three. For what its worth, CFC has gotten the better of SUSA over the last few years as well.

Oakwood isn't deep enough to handle the athleticism that the bigger club teams bring. I don't need to watch the game to know that Oakwood likely worked the ball around their own defensive third for 70% of the match. Also known as possession for the sake of possession. At some point you need a plan to go forward and attack.

Ironically, SUSA as a club hardly play the beautiful game. Broadly speaking as club they play pretty direct style.

These little Oakwood Dads with their snarky "kick and run, toe ball" comments probably got some humble pie.

Exactly, example, OW 2004 team is currently top ranked team in NE GAL but they just got spanked by an above average NE ECNL team. Not only did they get spanked by SUSA, they got spanked by probably SUSA's first outing since March. These girls haven't been together for months. Isn't that supposed to be the benefit of GAL a 10 month schedule?

GAL is a super weak league!
