The 10-month rule has gotta go. That would go a long way in shoring up the league.

There will still be a huge difference between the 2 leagues. The teams that play in it. Also girls love playing high school no matter how bad it is. The social aspect is what it’s about.

What they mean is their mentality not necessarily their skill level. We are not talking about the "best" player. Its their mentality to want to get better. Their desire and commitment.

the better players are definitely not playing HS soccer to be with their friends. They are playing to play despite their friends. I agree with the mentality statement.

Making varsity freshman year is not the be all end all standard to determine who should be serious about soccer and who should give up on the sport.

many just don't want to play DA and are simply stuck having to play HS soccer. Im sure many would much rather play with their club team. Only a few want to play HS soccer because their HS is competitive. But many others don't really have a choice. Its certainly not made because of their friends. I wouldn't want a teammate out on the field who is simply there to be with their friends.
