exactly.... last year if there weren't any 07s on the 06 team there wouldn't of been an 06 team. 8 07s played up

They had a 2006 NPL team and THAT team beat the Academy team!!!! They play up at OW because the parents demand it or are coaches!

The kids leave OW because ECNL is eating everyone's lunch. OW=CFC=FSA. There's no difference. But there is a world of difference between the platforms on which the kids play.

Go to an ECNL showcase. There isn't anything else like it in club soccer. That's why the kids switch clubs.

CFC ok. but these kids drive 90 minutes to fc stars and 2 plus hours to pda one way to play soccer. are these players the best of the best that they need to do this?

My goodness, let it go already. The infatuation with these two kids and their parents is ridiculous. Who cares where they travel to. You have nothing to do with their lives but you’re sitting here and wondering how many sessions they get?

OW parents got a small taste of it at the DA Showcases. Those were well attended. It tortured the college coaches as most don't have the funds to twice the amount of events. ECNL only got stronger now.

Oakwood’s new League is much weaker that the US Soccer DA. ECNL picked up the stronger teams and now the GAL is struggling with a few top teams going around pounding others. No a good situation for those top teams in GAL

younger ages will be ok. the questions is whether they can weather the ugly of the older ages while those players age out of club soccer. That would be a 3 year plan and it wont be easy. Not like you can tell college coaches "hey just come scout our 06 and 07 teams in 2 years because for now the older teams are horrible"
