OW used to be more affordable, in fact they touted it.

Also agree with previous poster that said exposure is priceless. How is RD selling that this year? Still the only pathway to D1? I noticed this year's slides actually mention D2 and D3 and that they still list themselves as the pathway to YNTs! haha

You forgot to add in the uniforms cost for CFC. It’s not included, must purchase every 2 years.

If you are paying for one of these clubs and enduring the travel at 14 and up it’s safe to assume college soccer is the goal. If not choose a cheaper local option like Vale, AFC etc. those are geared towards players that want to be decent high school players.

Totally agree. Problem is you basically have to decide on it by late middle school. It's tough to crack a roster on better exposure teams after that. You may change your mind in high school or find out it wasn't a realistic goal.

You also have to be leery of clubs in leagues that aren't "top" ones but promise exposure m. Yes many kids can get recruited outside of ECNL and DA. But it's more challenging and chances are many of your teammates won't get recruited, or will even have that as a goal.

It's OW! Can't they just find another pinney that will fit one of the other fielder's that knows it's ok to use your hands inside that big box near the goal?
