Pretty basic soccer rule. 18 players allowed entry into a match.

For a club that manages teams in a league with the most stringent of substitution rules, this is pretty embarrassing. That said, going 19 deep in a tournament game is actually a disadvantage to the team. Probably an innocent mistake by the coach trying to get kids on the field on a holiday weekend. Sounds like Oakwood made it right so a non story in my book. It happens and at higher levels than you’d think

18 players on a game day roster isn't stringent. Pretty sure that CJSA town travel abides by this rule. Come on!

You are wrong!! Two separate teams, two separate rosters. Can you can point out which girl was “double rostered”? You are 100% wrong. They don’t even practice together and I watched both teams play since my kid has friends playing with both.

As to how did orange beat sky? Early silly mistake lead to a goal following with some serious and smart defending and fantastic goalie from orange coming through.

Now, rumor has it that after all was said and done, Orange coach forfeited the final due to injuries and that made Sky champion.

To be honest, without CFC teams, OPI is history. As an OW parent, I expect my kid’s club to abide by the rules and if any are violated, to follow through even if it’s their own teams violating them.

OD’s specialty is switching girls from team to team, without even being there I can tell you he double rostered. He does it for every other game, what was going to stop him from doing it at this tourney? And enjoy the CFC tournament, where his Avon coach coaches his girls and then quickly changes into his little ref suit. No conflict of interest there (also someone feel free to toss the ref book at him, he refs like he coaches, horribly)

I would say oakwood is a joke if they are replacing their players with sporting players. Maybe now they can show ow players that the goal is straight ahead of them and not on the sidelines

Why would you ever merge if the best players migrate to OW anyway
