The state does not need more ECNL teams so close together. OW should stick with what little differentiation they have, which is DA.

So just bite the bullet and up the fees a little to take the pressure off. I commend them in their efforts to keep fees lower, but the reality is most CT soccer families are affluent. Charging them a few hundred bucks more won't get them to change behavior. Up the fees somewhat, put some of that aside for financial need scholarships. I agree DA is all they have and going to ECNL is foolish. Plsu, just "reaching out" to ECNL does not mean they'd get it.

Those old farts have never merged or bought any other club from day one. The only thing they are actively doing is looking to sell out as they are nearing retirement

More rumors of Oakwood reaching out to ECNL to be considered. Since ECNL wants to dominate the NorthEast, I’m sure they would get accepted

Good news, with the cold weather we have moved practices indoors. Please do not bring soccer equipment because we will be learning how to speak with an English accent to better our play. I found the "English Soccer Coach" edition on Rosetta Stone but it is too expensive and did not want to add to your yearly dues. I am trying to be cognizant of your financial commitments. Please tell your children to drink plenty of water to help with their vocal cords.

Wow, United has no English coaches! CFC dad speaks up because all the 400 non United teams have those dumb annoying coaches but because none in United means what was said wasn’t true. Nice attempt at humor WT CFC dad.

Based on last year's performance it likely won't be pretty. The one thing in OW's favor is that several top clubs left and USSF added much weaker ones. Maybe they'll get a few of those games.
