Not in CT they aren't. That OW team is 3 goals better than FSA & CFC. They are prob 3rd best team in NE behind SSS & Stars ECNL.

Maybe he means the 2005 NPL team there .... I think they are better than their academy team. This may be true across the board at OW. They totally underestimated how important HS soccer actually was for their constituents.

Are you on this planet? OW05 had to work their @$$ off just to beat FSA05 1-0 in a friendly...and scored with only 2 mins left in the game. OW05 accomplished that monumental effort on the heals of 3+ weeks of practice, 1 tournament, and a couple of league games. To put that in perspective, it was FSA05's first gathering as a team, no practice, and a new coach...who asked the girls their name and position when they showed up. Please stop drinking the Kool-Aid. Bigger issue is that your Region stinks. But, luckily you got Albertson from the ECNL. Please do your homework before posting on public sites.

Not the OP but you couldn't have come away from that friendly, as an OW parent or coach, and thought that OW05 DA was the better team. It was clear FSA had the upper hand and control of the game. When the new FSA coach randomly had the better lineup on the field the ball didn't cross the half field line in FSA's favor.

Also FSA didn't have their goalie and used random field players in goal.

FSA ECNL 05's played the NPL team immediately after the DA team (typical OW scheduling) and FSA ECNL went up 3-0 in the first 20 minutes of the game. Again random lineups, no goalie, coach didn't even know girls names.

FSA sent their team to play Oakwood without having had a single practice.

FSA was coached by someone who isn’t their real coach.

Fsa teams typically get a new coach every year.

This year oakwood got some new players simply due to the fact they heard one of their players made the national team camp. Their little Mia is surely the next one to get the call up!
