Please that BS non profit has made the Greek rich. Being non profit means nothing as it relates to its ability to generate money. If anything NYSC pours more money back into the club than BS

The Greek makes his money on non BS activities....Westport town, Greenwich, etc. plus some camp stuff. Nobody is getting rich off of BS.

So whats the news at BS these days? Have they held any town hall meetings?

The winter is always the calm before the storm. Spring time arrives at Beachside, and its always parents looking over their shoulders wondering which family is leaving.

But the winter is for Omar, congrats to him for securing Beachside's teams to play at his facility (lock your doors folks).

Word is another Beachside DA coach (former) joined NYSC, not sure if its true. That would be two of their coaches this year alone who left Beachside for NYSC.

Why is NYSC grabbing so many of Beachside's players and coaches? Has to be a reason.

They all think (parent and coaches alike at nysc) that it is a path to nycfc. Kinda obvious. It’s a way to get looks for nycfc. Then after that possibility dries up, they head back...or move on somewhere else...They are all enticed by the nycfc.

Even if that isn't the ultimate goal for players (and I think most are pretty realistic in that regard, it's more about college than a pro path) NYSC seems to be investing in their future and offering a better product/service. It's location obviously doesn't work for all BS families but certainly enough of them that it's starting to make a dent. If FCW could get its act together that would hurt as well. They had been on an upward path and taking more CT kids, but now have cratered again.

I am sure there are some that think NYSC is a better pathway to NYCFC but most are headed there because they run a quality program and I am sure having their own facility does not hurt either.

If you are good enough, any club could be a so called pathway to NYCFC.

People are leaving BS because they are sick of the BS. It is no longer the only game in town but unfortunately MK still acts like it is.

The "large salary" was commingled funds used from BS to cover expenses for MK soccer inc.. So MK soccer inc was an extremely profitable venture as it was pure profit. Same bookkeeper for both ventures cutting checks for what the greek commanded.
