if you are BEachside
If you are Beachside, you are working on doing just three things right now.
1. Moving your club to a region where your client list includes a geographically undesirable location for a player/family to either do the NYCFC commute, or be enticed by a better product at NYSC.
2. Make your cost basis a lot cheaper, ala renting fields, by charging as much as you can to those that can pay, and subsidizing talent for those who can't. AND having a lower cost basis so that you can make payments to purchasing land and facilities in a much lower cost area than Fairfield County CT.
3. Rinse and repeat with a new client base. Existing/old client base that is aging out, will be just fine. Newer clientele that sees team mates leave for NYSC or NYCFC believe the club to be short term place holder for their eventual destination. Beachside has to get away from that model and the only way they can do it is rinse and repeat.
Not really a bad strategy overall. They can't outspend NYSC, and they certainly can't out produce NYCFC's offering.
So move North, we'll all still come visit once or twice a year.

[QUOTE=Unregistered;2432546]Oh well so much for some good answers. But lets talk about some truth ... because its not all lies he says.
NYSC 06DA is hosting a turf tournament at their home facility with NYCFC, Red Bulls, and Cedar Stars this coming weekend - truth
For the tournament this weekend, does anyone know if some of the other academy teams will also be playing? FCW? Oakwood? Just curious.

Cool thanks. Should be a great tournament with NYCFC and Red Bulls there. BS should lose the ego and join. It would be good for their players.
I am sure NYSC would welcome them if they did though. Given that its a few days away, likely no spots but who knows.... .wait NYSC knows, if BS would call them.
