Haters gonna Hate. BS DA has made playoffs beaten MLS clubs. Sent players to top College programs. 20+ year track record in CT. Nuff said. Any news of BSCs demise are greatly exaggerated. MK not losing any sleep over this.

a) NYSC, OW, NYCFC, and Red Bull all have their own facilities and BS is back to square one.
b) BS will continue to lose players to MLS academies, so their ability to compete in the DA league will be hindered. Basically left with tier 2, and tier 3 college players. No pro pathway.
c) Tough to compete for new players when MLS academies are more prestigious and FREE to play. Leaves them to cater to rich FC kids who want to play at a decent college program.
d) No top level girls program (ECNL or GDA) with little hope of gaining access. Hurts perception of club as catering to boys only. Limits revenue potential.

Current U15s 8th place of 11 with a 4-6-2 record with wins against NYSC, Seacoast and two against Empire.
U16/17s last place with 2-10-1 record only wins against Seacoast and Empire
U18/19s 8th place of 10 with a 3-8-2 record. Only wins against FCW, Seacoast and Empire. Two shellackings by Montreal 10-0 and 7-0
U13s are 5W 7L 1T
U14a EW 7W 2L 4T - the best team they have for now, but all it takes is NYCFC or sometimes even Red Bulls taking two top players and that will change.

AT UVA: no games
IR BU: played 2 games then injured
DJ Syracuse: 14 games, 5 starts
RM Fairfield: not listed

Also keep in mind the players from this graduating class played on the best BS team in last several years. Several of those players, AS will play at UCONN and SM will play at NC
Big, big drop off after the last few studs leave

Makes sense given many of those kids probably came in when BS was doing better. Current 18/19s have players that spent their prime development years at other clubs, not BS. The records of the current teams aren't good at all. DA in general has lost some of its appeal also, especially when it comes to come pay to play clubs. Top Ridgefield player JS only played one year at BS and went back to high school. AC CT has several all staters on their rosters. Granted getting recruited from non DA is much tougher and fewer players will achieve that goal, but DA isn't the only path. NYCFC being so close has definitely hurt them as well. At least before doing the Red Bulls was a test of parent sanity.
then there's #returnourmoney

There they go folks ... BS management out in full force to defend “ college credits start to roll in , in order to forget about the Ponzi scheme “ success is a choice right?

I am curious to see whether the underclass kids who jumped to BS after HS (Bethel, Ludlowe, and recent player) will skip their senior year or it was only a rental for the Spring season
