Hard to say but it likely didn't help. Even something as simple as having better trainers at a pro club could have helped (some college trainers are clueless). But career ending injuries in college are a risk in any sport. Happens to pro bound basketball and football players all the time in college.

Doubtful you don't change your style. His biggest attributes were his speed and jumping ability.

He broke down physically and couldn't use those attributes. His physical breakdown could have occurred anywhere (high school, college or pros)

Of course you can change your style. Good training especially at the younger ages could teach you to not rely just on speed.

Yes as a youngster but not as a pro. The die has been cast at that point

The point was made that style can change as a pro. That's rare

You hit it on the head , i cant tell you how many games at the youth level i would watch in the past and see some kid blazing down the sideline like the cartoon character road runner, and then hear some parent describe how good he is with a future as a pro OR d1 player.

I almost never give my honest opinion because i dont want to sound like im jealous , but the truth is those kids almost never have any real IQ or skill with the ball , the thoughts of going forward all their life is mind locked and they were always told 'Go Go Go'

If you look into any of those kids now you'll see those are the kids sitting on the bench in college while Mom and Dad foots a 60k a year tuition, now dont get me wrong most probably wouldn't have gotten on the roster without Beep Beep legs so i guess something good came out of it.

Looks like FSA picked up a beach side coach. Anyone know CP the Brazilian?

It's over, that was where Mickey choose to skim 200K for the past 5 years from the operating budget (look for your self). BS Thanks all parents for allowing them to squeeze so many teams on one field for so long. Parent are fed up so now it's time to dig deep into their pockets. Now they are softened up, they are told that squeezing of team on fields will go away once (i.e. Mickey Kydes soccer park). Shortage of field space was created by the silent fundraising (skimming).

So said the angry man at 11:30 at night. Is this the best time you can post when the kids and wife are a sleep? What a life.

Ok gotta go....ready to board my flight to China, business calls.

BS is a sinking ship. Losing best players to NYCFC. They will never have another team compete at a high level. Good night BS
