Everton and CFC Chelsea Piers have girls teams full of sophomores and juniors, too. The difference is that Everton and Chelsea Piers don't tout themselves as destination clubs for girls who aspire to play college soccer. BS is a destination club on the boys side for sure, but it is woefully inadequate on the girls side. The few true talents left on Beachside girls at U15 - one or two players at most - are on CFC ECNL by U16. That's just the way it is.

Yes we know that. But it's so few that it cannot be called a "feeder " program. YU loses a few to CFCU also yet they'd never claim to be a feeder program. Have some pride man. No wonder girls families get fed up with BS.

Yeah, because everyone absolutely MUST play Division I right? That is not the path everyone wants. But I guess that is what most of the people on this site think. Too many people living through their daughter's. If BS gets your daughter DII money or acceptance into a top DIII, that is awesome. Let them get an education and keep playing soccer. Too little time to play to spend it worrying about what one-dimensional fools think.

BS girls is much too expensive for what they have on offer. How much should a parent pay for what seems like a glorified travel level program with a "premier" bow on it? With very few college level players being developed (virtually no commitments), what exactly is BS offering?

The club is out of balance. On one side you have boys DA, and the other a very mediocre (and high priced) girls program. They need ECNL or GDA to get the balance right - and both are out of reach. BS is in a tough spot.

Arsenal/South awarded 16 of 23 (70%) of roster spots on U14 ECNL for next season. Pretty impressive indeed.

Also looks like they only took 1 or 2 players from outside the CFC branch network.....seems like a tough nut to crack if you are not in the CFC u-little production line.
