Kyle Martino Enters Race for U.S. Soccer President.
Maybe Beachside get a boost and some money if Kyle wins.
Below is his campaign platform interesting to see Beachside spin in these T
■ Transparency. Chief among his goals are commissioning an outside audit to study “the ethics of how U.S. Soccer is being run” and to make the position of federation president a full-time, paid post. Martino said one of his initial motivations in publicly declaring that he would not run recently was to highlight the fact that the position is currently unpaid, because that “creates a barrier for entry to qualified candidates.”
-Transparency (not for beachside, hide profits in Mickey Kydes soccer and bury expenses in Beachside nonprofit. Skim money from player fees and call it silent fundraising. However I am sure Mickey supports comment "..unpaid “creates a barrier for entry to qualified candidates.” this how he justifies the money he skims from not for profit.
■ Equality. A prime area of concern for Martino, he said, is youth players who are being priced out of the game by the financial barriers they encounter, but also players at all levels who feel “unsafe” in locker rooms and what he calls “the mistreatment of our female athletes.”
...Equality, Okay this even worse. Priced out that is the beachside way. There has to be room for Westport, Greenwich players that support his for profit side. Raise prices til roster spots open up. Girl equality, please Mickey and his staff can rat off 100 reason why he does not have a strong girls program. Bottom line he is old school greek, sexist and his action speak louder than words.. clear that he feels real women don't and can't play real soccer. Look and the fields and coaches for years he supported the girls program with. Only now that need to build his soccer park and need the volume to make the numbers work does he care. Most of the coaches he bring in are sexist pigs. Spend a night out drink with them. Sure they kind people who defend Harvey W.
“Our women are World Cup winners,” Martino said. “Why are they playing on artificial surfaces? Why are they sleeping in beds with bed bugs? Why aren’t they paid the same as the men? And if you look at the U.S. soccer structure, why don’t women have positions of influence? There are no good answers to these questions.”
■ Progress. Martino wants to enact new standards to measure it and to create centers throughout the country to foster it by teaching a curriculum “aggregated from some of the business soccer academies around the world” — for free — to the top youth players in the sport after casting “a wider net” find more prospects that the current system is missing. He also wants to assemble an advisory board of former players, top coaches and representatives from a variety of levels to make recommendations to the president on major decisions, such as hiring the head coach or technical director for the men’s national team.
Mickey all over this however he love to steer Kyle, however Mickey is always saying that college player development is our solution. Mickey does not want progress, his system works wealthy families want to make sure son goes IVY or NESCAC it's win for him and them. Progress in the highest level of soccer not so much.

BS U15 8th place 3-5-1 record
U17 9th 1-6-0
U19 7th 2-4-1
OW U15 11th place 3-7-1
U17 5th 4-4-2
U19 4th 5-3-1
Neither is setting the world on fire but OW has a slight edge. They haven't played each other yet. Without the wins, top talent looks elsewhere. BS has to worry about losing top players to other nearby DA clubs, especially the two MLS clubs. OW is a little more insulated, but some CT players do make the trek to Foxboro, even for the shi**Y Revs.

BS seems to play fewer games.
BS is a renter at various facilities which are being utilized during the busiest time of year. Result is scheduling issues
