I got what I need, so thank you so some. Others that pretend to be me, get real.
Given that he is 12, I would suggest that in addition to BSC that you explore both NYSC and Everton. Both clubs are known for their training.

I would give a slight edge to NYSC as they are building their own facility at Manhattanville College (take 84 and 684) and they are almost a full DA club. NYSC also has well known Futsal program.

Everton has good training but is a more relaxed atmosphere (and is closer to Danbury).

I would suggest that for the clubs that you are considering that you take your son to a few practices before tryouts and see what works best for you.

    Good luck.

"New facility on the Westchester NY/Connecticut Border" BEachside in BIG trouble.

Stephan Feldgoise, Chairman of NYSC commented, "I would like to thank our team who has worked relentlessly to build NYSC to where it is today and also thank our partners at NYCFC and Sky Blue FC who have supported us along the way. This promotion, along with NYSC's new facility on the Westchester NY/Connecticut border, creates a tremendous player development environment and pathway for all top level players in the region.

                            The New Era

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s time to pay homage. Beachside was a pioneer in the development of high level soccer in our area. Led by the great Mickey Kydes, Beachside became a brand of excellence. Starting before many (in our area at least) Mickey opened doors initially, minds later, and wallets after that. Kudos to him, the club, the brand, and the legacy.

But that era is over, the death spiral is in full motion.

Kudos to USSF for allowing so many badges that competition was created for talent and brand development. Some say that there are to many USDA clubs in a small population area...that may be true today. Tomorrow it won’t be.

The announcement today of NYSC 16/17 DA badge is not just a recognition of the new kid on the block.....it’s the recognition of the end of yesterday’s bully.

Beachside has Mickey, a former MLS player, and recognized trainer/coach. He was better yesterday...today he’s holding on.

NYSC has Christian Gonzalez, a U-14 USA boys asst coach, on the rise.

NYSC has Stephan Feldgoise, recently appointed chairman who got a home facility built inside of a year of his appointment.

Everyone watch very closely over the coming 1-2 years. Beachside is NOT BS, it’s real....and it’s really over. NYSC is not BS...it’s today ...it’s tomorrow.

Let the games begin (they already have). Let the results speak for themselves.

Today was a great day, a day to remember. Today out an exclamation point on the future which begins tomorrow.

All things change.....it’s time to honor Mickey and Beachside....the same way we honor those who retire with a grand story.

There is a new book to read, and it’s a page turner. Dig in, follow, and respect the new big dog in town... welcome NYSC, you’re the king now. It’s your show. Write well.....

Beachside should focus on New Haven, Bridgeport and Norwalk kids. Let NYSC have the golden spoon kids from Darien and New Canaan

The soccer would be better but the paycheck lighter.
