I agree! Traditionally sporting has lost a lot of players to Oakwood and FSA (boys and girls). With better coaches at the HS ages (if they can retain them), perhaps they are now looking to retain these players and maintain their u-little teams so that they continue playing with and beating the big boys at the HS ages. Their boys side has been very respectable at older ages, but their girls sides definitely needed something .... perhaps they just got it.

Being competitive at the high school ages happens when you consolidate talent from other clubs. Not just retain your own ulittle teams. Sporting won’t retain their top players. They will always choose Ecnl or da if they have the chance. So if they aren’t consolidating and recruiting kids from other clubs you will always get the dying high school

There is no DA here anymore and and but a single ECNL cub worth trying for at CFCU .... all the rest is not worth it and almost no one will crack the CFCU rosters after U14. Not that they do not have talent, but it just isnt worth it for CFCU to upset the paying parents of the incumbents for little extra ability (or equality).
