Don't listen to the markets around the world. Bow to Trump. He says everything is perfect. Like his call to Ukraine . . .

        Idiots.

South Korea has conducted 190,000 tests thus far, capacity of 15,000 a day.

"If doctors suspect a COVID-19 case, they can proceed with testing without restriction. Of course, the testing is conducted free of charge."

I believe we have now tested 4000. Humpty Trumpty still hasn’t talked about getting people without insurance tested.
sorry mr. bs...this is the responsibility of each state...I believe NY is doing this (among other states). and you dont need insurance.

Hey idiot, no it's not. The CDC has guidelines that requires its authorization for testing. The federal government is in charge. Stop blaming everyone else.

              Idiot.

People like Title Con are all Trump has left. Everyone else with two brain cells to rub together will be abandoning Trump. Looking forward to finally regaining some normalcy when Dems take the White House and Senate.

Cuomo was complaining about the bottlenecks caused by the CDC and Feds. Who would know better than the governor of a state with an explosion of cases?

You need insurance unless you are lucky enough to live in the handful of states that said they would wave fees for the uninsured. I don't believe any state has said they would test anyone for free. Copays will be an issue for some with insurance they can't afford to use, but bravo to the states at least covering the uninsured. It is something the Feds should have done from the start. Medicaid and Medicare will cover testing. Twenty-seven million Americans have no insurance.

My god it absolutely is not up to the states.

Please acquaint yourself with the mission and history of the CDC, FDA, etc. you are profoundly ignorant

"explosion of cases?[/QUOTE]" its really about 100 cases...hardly an explosion.

There are currently over 8400 cases of influenza type 1, 2 and a type not specified last week alone in New York State. (this really makes corona look like 3rd string jr high in terms of illness) but of course Influenza is not the story of the month right now for liberals.

Pneumonia killed 50,000 americans last year alone BUT...is not the story of the month right now for liberals!!!!!

                        slaves to the media!!!!

There wouldn’t have been a bottleneck has the CDC competently created the test kits like they always did before.

Once the CDC screwed up not once , not twice , but three times , states were put in a position for first time in history to have to do it themselves .

Then the FDA bottlenecks it. Why? They want private labs to profit from their snafu and DONT want PUBLIC labs getting involved

                          Disaster capitalism at its worst

And each and every one of them raises risks for all.

Object lesson on the necessity for universal health care in a modern world

                                Some truth from Peter Baker

The coronavirus does not respond to Trump’s favorite instruments of power: It cannot be cowed by Twitter posts, it cannot be shot down by drones, it cannot be overcome by party solidarity, it cannot be overpowered by campaign rally chants.
