Have heard rumour that they are trying to create a ECRL league for both girls and boys in the Pacific Northwest, but little confirmed info so far. There is already Boys ECNL is WA do ECRL wouldn’t have much of an effect honestly. RCL is already a B league at best. How many clubs honestly have their A team in the league anymore. Only good thing about ECNL regional is that it’s led by people that have, largely, been proven competent. Would kill whatever this Elite Academy League travesty that a trying to become.

ECNL for girls is already A/B, leaning heavily on the B team. GAL, who the heck knows?
This is a big money grab for the big clubs to consolidate from the smaller clubs.
Seriously, how many paying idiots are there? I guess too many. Ha.

The DA had it right and the MLS teams ruined it and this is what they came up with, complete joke.

academy and overcoming the lack of having a national soccer culture. The non-MLS clubs
get revenue from you by developing these boys and the best ones will to go a MLS academy.
If your son is a good player and smart, there is small chance of being recruited to college.
Don't forget that there are international players who are being recruited to college ball.
So what is the purpose of this for boys? Play pro or go to college or expensive way to
keep them out of trouble.
So everybody wins, sorta. Not really for most of the boys.
So for our corner of the world, there are three MLS clubs, timbers, sounders, whitecaps.
All of the WA state ECNL boys are feeders to the Sounders. Everybody gets paid to
feed the system out of your pocket. So this ENCL regional is trying to squeeze the last
penny from this diluted system by using your kids and your money as cannon fodder.
So, idiot parents, I salute you.

Whether it's REC, Premier, or ECNL the only thing you should expect at 10 years old is for your son to have some fun, learn some good life lessons, and develop friendships. If you are “expecting” more you are doing it for the wrong reasons.

crossfire Premier has posted some of their coaches slate on their scroll, looks like all their A teams will now be regional ECNL.
Anyone which other clubs are participating?
