Hiring an independent HR company to run an audit of the club was no secret. The people they spoke to (and the things they said) was no secret, the official complaints to the board against Rory (that you all conveniently ignored & tried to suppress) were no secret. The outcome of that report was also no secret either as it led to Rory being removed with immediate effect.

However, I agree there are always two sides to every story. With that in mind, how many parents, players, or staff members have been removed post investigation from the 3rd party independent HR audit? As far as I am aware only one person has been removed from the club as a direct result of that report/investigation (although the word on the street is that board members are going to be jumping ship) If Rory's treatment was so bad by his staff, and he is truly the victim in this equation, wouldn't it have resulted in more removals?

Servicing debt you inherit is/was not Rory's fault of course, however, not being able to balance the budget and correctly predict cash flow to the tune of 6 figure bridge loans every year due to running out of money is 100% on his shoulders.

The attacks on Rory on here have often been beyond reasonable and quite obviously been one-sided. Coaches were talking badly about him long before he opened his mouth. Those of us who have been at the club a long time also know the damage these parent coach board relationships have done to the club. I have seen people blaming Rory for coaches not doing their job on here and I have seen people on here say really nasty things about him personally, about his health. A reasonable person will look at a situation and say that both sides have a part in the blame when something doesn't work out. As a parent in the club it is infuriating to watch the obviously organized way in which people have tried and succeeded to destroy the club because Rory wanted to try something different. It is funny to see how somepeople have forgotten all the problems that existed before him. Parents on here saying very bad things based on what they have heard from a coach without ever hearing the other side. You are all saying there will be lawsuits so let the court sort it out and stop trying to destroy someone based on emotion and weird attachment to your kid's coach that makes you believe every word they say. It will just be another chapter in this club's long history of animosity and mob mentality. The year before rory came, we had exactly the same situation. We have had it many times over the years. It makes reasonable parents want to put their kids in another sport.

You keep talking about what he did in the last but no one will share examples. I asked Rory directly about bankruptcy a club in California and he said this was absolutely untrue.
What about the behavior he dealt with. He put up with a crazy amount of abuse from staff too. Have you ever asked the coaches about the other side of the story? I am sure both parties could have done better, but you are trying to destroy Rory completely without hearing his side or allowing him to share his experience. That is obsessive and problematic. Tell us what he did in the past that you have proof of.

1) He didn't coach at loyola despite saying so. Before he was hired nobody (board) vetted. He spent one month as a staff (not coach) member doing some work with players not on the team. This has been verified by the athletic department at the university.

2) He accused, in writing, a team manager of threatening him when he was told that the boys wanted Ike to coach them vs Rory (this was after Eddie left)

3) The club in CA went under while under his watch (he also tried the Liverpool approach with them)

4) He referred to a previous female secretary of the board as his secretary - actually as "just his secretary" in a room full of people

5) The number of people who have left speaks volumes. Data doesn't lie - neither does exit interviews

6) He publically verbally accosted someone at Starfire based on his misguided assumptions - then named them on a public forum

7) He allowed a parent to be threatened by a board member in front of a room of people and continued to have that board member serve despite the clear violation of the standards of conduct

8) He lied publically and claimed the coaches left for more money which all the coaches have independently said is not true

9) He told a manager/parent in writing that someone (Craig) was disgruntled in the same email in which he declined to jabs a public discussion because he couldn't talk about personnel issues

All of these items are verifiable in the objective emails, documents, and possibly even a recording of the threat made to the parent - assuming board meetings are recorded and there are minutes.
