I don’t know what everyone is talking about it is a great facility on grass field reasonably price and clubs are not going because xf helps kids with the money that sounds smart. Seems like their kids are the only ones hurting in these decisions from directors with vendettas just work harder than you will win

Imagine thinking the reason clubs are boycotting XF Challenge is because XF "helps kids with the money". You must be new here. Having actual morals isn't a vendetta.

Strikes me as odd XF would abandon their own brand just to publicize a competitor?

Looks like a cash grab for a struggling club.

          i guess the boycott worked.

And? RCL is what? XF D teams? You don’t think WPL would immediately let in XF? The RCL superiority complex is mind numbing. No one cares about your league anymore. It’s a glorified select division.

Struggling ? That's true. Struggling with other clubs getting off their butts and doing something to get better for their players. Instead of complaining about competitors.

I don’t have a dog in the fight, but this is fantastic.

Why do people think that this is anything other than letting Surf run the tournament?

Will be interesting to see if he splits the cash from parking rather than pocketing it.

There already is a Copa Surf NW Tournament here, apparently run by W. WA Surf. So....what is this new one all about? Is one better than the other? Will Copa Surf NW go away? How do W. WA and XF be allowed to both run Surf tournaments when they are geographically next door to each other? Something does not make sense here.

I think the question is why. Bernie pays nothing for the fields. Outside of the fact all the good local teams pulled out, why would he give the tourney to surf?
