I hear they carrying 20+ players and not telling the kids or parents, so sad.

Surf Elite A had many dual-club players who are going to play ECNL next season. They are not going to come back.

Why does this club get so much attention? I really don’t understand. Why don’t we ever hear about Washington premiere or sound fc or anyone else? So much focus on Surf it’s crazy.

Fair point, all the other clubs including both my kids play for do stupid stuff and it's usually the result of the ego of the adults involved. The reason Surf Select/Titans gets so much grief is they are a for profit business and you see it in every decision they make, The decisions are made because of the money it will bring in for the business/club. If happens to benefit the kids to seems like an after thought.

That’s fair. ECNL for serious competition, titans for easy and low level competition. If you can afford both, great!

All clubs offer the A team spots the first night of tryouts. What are you on about?

In a closed system there is no incentive for most teams to be good . They are happy to wear the badge and don’t even try to improve. We need an open system to give teams incentive to get better. I’m pretty sure Seattle United and Crossfire would
still be good without ecnl badging, they have a different mindset from most clubs.

Play to Play plus closed youth leagues meen USA will never be competitive in the world on the men's stage and we are rapidly becoming uncompetitive on the women's side as our youngest women vote with their feet and go to Europe.

LOL, are you aware of the No. 2.11 Club Loyalty Rule of ECNL? If it is found out, he will be kicked out of the ECNL team, and all ECNL matches he played will be forfeited. EA is in the competition of ECNL and they will take it very seriously.
