Jam packed at Wash East Surf. Plus we just landed Jay Vela which is drawing more kids.

Nope, even coached the next game. Technically it’s against the rules but I suspect the ref assignor kind of knew it was a soft red and Surf said it was ok for him to coach.

Jay was hired some time ago. Also, can't believe he getting any decent kids to go to WE lol

There will always be movement in Spokane. Now that we dropped down to ECRL, it’s much easier for Surf to justify that their EA teams are at least closer, and honestly in a lot of age groups they are pretty close. For the girls, Surf is finally starting to win some games against us for GA and both clubs have DPL as a second team so those programs are very equal if you ask me. Coaches would probably prefer to blow their rival out but it’s better to have a local competitor to play against where the games aren’t a joke. The problem is, and this is why there will always be movement, if you get cut from the A team at Sounders, you can go across the street and in most cases make their A team, then you displace one of their players that will go make the B team at Sounders, and on and on and on. Same thing happens on the girls side. I know a bunch of our U17s went over to their GA team then a few of their girls came over to our DPL team.

There’s no way Jay would post this. It’s probably a random parent. Probably one with an 8 year old that they think will be the next Messi.

I heard there is no point going to sounders or surf... I hear the real team is Spokane Legacy. Keep you head on a swivel XF.

There are some good teams in eastern Washington, but wondering how far these players drive?!?!

Sounders transitioning back to the Shadow name! New $100 jerseys for every player in the club! Wonder what the kickback on that is.

Isn't it a kit change year anyways?

A lot of clubs are biannual or only change one color per year. Even if they are annual, warmup gear, water bottles, and tshirts for parents is where the money is. Abbas is going to make a bag of cash.

A local club director and, more importantly men’s college head coach, engaging in club politics and making an immature post on social media because Crossfire rebranded their tournament to Surf is embarrassing and reeks of desperation.
