Who is next? Rush merging with Snohomish? Cascade merging with Eastside? Clubs without ECNL are losing players left and right after u12 or maybe even earlier and I don't see this trend slowing.

you can see for yourself that Kent United did indeed have RCL teams. In life, I really do recommend that you know what you are talking about before you open your mouth.

Sad really. But good for Pac and likely all the coaches involved at FWFC.

I think this is an INCREDIBLE move by PacNW to expand their territory, grow their player base, and help out a struggling smaller club. I feel bad for the folks at FWFC that it came to this, but overall it’s the right decision. While PAC has been in the conversation as one of the “Big 5” clubs in WA (XF, SU, EFC, WPFC, PAC), I expect this move to help make it more competitive in the years to come. Overall this merger seems like a win-win.

Pac should merge with West Seattle Soccer and Highline. That would give them the junior program they need.
It is great to see Pac expanding. It is a good program

This is a big deal PACNW already has double the teams of XF on the girls side. That's a massive player base to choose from as the teams get larger where XF barely has 2 teams at most age groups and is praying that kids show up at tryouts so they have enough to fill the teams. I think we had 7 kids from outside the club for G08 tryouts last year . . . you can't completely neglect your girls side for so many years, and give trash coaches to any team that isn't ECNL and expect people to stick around. Paying the girls airfare and tournament fees once they are in High School isn't quite the draw you thought it was. Pac has been top of the list for shady behavior in the past, but seem to be making smart choices these days.
