I think we had 7 kids from outside the club for G08 tryouts last year . . . you can't completely neglect your girls side for so many years, and give trash coaches to any team that isn't ECNL and expect people to stick around. Paying the girls airfare and tournament fees once they are in High School isn't quite the draw you thought it was. Pac has been top of the list for shady behavior in the past, but seem to be making smart choices these days.
Seriously? They are in first place in every age group but one- 18/19 where Eastside FC is in the top spot currently. Pac is in 5/6 or lower in almost every age group except 18/19 where they are 3rd.

Did you even look at the standings before you said "can't completely neglect your girls side for so many years". They are doing something right.

It is great to see Pac expanding. It is a good program

Nooo don't ruin West seattle clubs! Kids will go to pac if they want but don't shove it down our throats

Agree. These mergers are only good for two things:

        1) director egos
        2) director paychecks

FWFC didn't have the finances to continue. Their former Director understood this and was trying to make meaningful change before he was pushed out.

Maybe in the long run this will benefit kids in the Federal Way community, but I don't believe it will.

        We shall see.

I've heard rumors this isn't going to go through, as Pac didn't follow the rules (par for the course with Pac).

Does this mean PacNW gets to move from "provisional" status in RCL to a full-fledged member, because FWFC already is (or was) a full-fledged member?

They had an info night this evening for all of the Federal Way FC families. It was a combination of Federal Way FC Director and PAC Director speaking. Overall I was very impressed, and our family is excited for this new opportunity.
