Ok, they won a youth soccer title. Big wow. But did they develop as players as much as they could have if someone would have actually coached them? Or did they win because Troy was successful recruiting and keeping together some of the most talented, most athletic players in their age group? Both are coaching skills, except an 07 title won’t help the player being successful unless they also developed to their full potential. Of those joining Sounders last year only 1-2 are getting much play time. One of them was already a strong player when he move to the PNW and joined XF. The others are basically bench warmers despite being starters on last years XF 07 team.

Crossfire did it again: teams traveling to Dallas and Orlando last week during spring break came back with lots of wins against competitive teams, including MLS academy teams. Everyone played at least semifinal, many finals and some teams won their finals. SU? Missing in action. PacNW or EFC weren’t even invited since they mean nothing on a national level. Thank you Crossfire for representing the PNW and for being a force on national and often international levels!

Two EFC teams played Dallas Cup. PAC played in ECNL tournament.

XF is the best club here no doubt. But people like you make XF have the most insufferable parents, bar none.

We simply never see PAC or EFC at these tournaments… maybe that’s because they don’t play supergroup with the most competitive teams.

07 team national champs - in Florida barely won 1 game and lost 2 games to non ECNL teams, badly I might add.

                    Way to represent

You don’t know what you are talking about.

Fact: XF B07 ECNL won two of 3 group games and made it to the Semifinals.

XF B08 ECNL and XF B09 ECNL both won their finals.

                        XF has a boys team?

XF 09 didn’t win the main bracket just a thank you for coming second tier consolation bracket. They also only won because coach Dan was the sub coach and went back to Troy’s formation and rotation. These teams are still seeing the results of Troy’s work not their new coaches. The 08’s will lose a few kids to the sounders next year, and the 09 are already on the decline with more kids leaving at tryouts. Seattle United is a step ahead at the 08/09 age group, they are tending up and will do better than xf at the ECNL playoffs.

                            07 ECL Team went 1:1;1
                            Lost 0:4 in the Seminfinal

You are insane if you think Troy's stuff is why they win, or any coach's stuff. They win because they have talent. Players 10-15 may leave, happens every year. The three of you trying to paint a doom and gloom picture at XF because Troy and Justi left are going to have a rough go of it next year when XF continues to win and you are losing at Eastside.
