Shame they are being sticklers for eligibility rules coming off of covid shutdowns and with so many families changing schools for various reasons. I'd decide based on the coach and after checking out a couple team environments to see what seems the best fit. A B or C team at age would make sense. A better younger team would work too.

U13 U14 boys ECNL would be ideal. Fast and technical but not too strong where they can hurt your dd. U15 is max but maybe a lower level team.
Do not run the risk of getting your dd hurt by a boy being too aggressive, especially if your dd is trying to get recruited.
Athletic boys are massively stronger than your dd. Seriously.

Do not waste your time with those combo girl's teams or pre-HS ECNL girls teams. Do privates and hit the gym.

The private schools all play each other twice (8 games each). The public schools may play two of the Metro private schools each. It is a shame.
Better check the schedule. According to the Metro schedule The teams are playing a 1 up game schedule. The public schools are playing 3 private schools.
Don't even get me going on why the private schools are allowed in Metro.

The schedule is posted and you’re still reading incorrectly. As others have noted, the private schools (which are in metro because they are 3a schools in the Seattle metro area, duh) all play each other twice and some, but not all, of the public schools once. Some of the stronger public school teams (like Roosevelt) don’t play some of the stronger private school teams.

That is funny to present the actual facts versus someone who thinks they know that they are talking about.

Do you want to take a specific schedule and lay it out so we can all understand. It will show that you don't know what you are talking about. Just because they got rid of divisions doesn't mean they have changed the scheduling. The private schools battle it out while Roosevelt as some one noted will play a cup cake schedule.

Just picked a rondom school of Lincoln. http://www.metroleaguewa.org/index.p....8.1961.11.321 Help me understand your logic. They play two private school games.

Another random school in Hale. They don't play any. http://www.metroleaguewa.org/index.p...=0.8.80.11.321

Just for clarity. Here is Garfields schedule. Doesn't seem to match what you are saying. http://www.metroleaguewa.org/index.p...=0.8.63.11.321

It requires a truly special kind of arrogance snd ignorance to continue sticking to your guns after multiple people politely, and clearly, tell you why you are wrong. Just pull down any of the prep, hna, lakeside, ec, blanchet schedules from the metro web site — they all play each other twice and play only a few of the public schools (and not the same ones).

Quite a few games on tap for today and a bunch of eastern wa teams played last night.

Assuming by play you mean just practice. I've seen it done at one of the top clubs. Their top ECNL players that don't play HS for whatever reason go and train with the U16, U17, or U18 B teams but only the better B teams. Only the top ECNL players can do it as the girls are very overmatched already so they need to be very technically skilled or they are wasting everyone's time as the difference in pace of play is very significant and much more so than the girls first realize. I'd avoid the U15's....not enough control in their bodies which then increases possibility for injury. Same goes for C teams. That being said - the growth shown in play of those girls from beginning to end of those fall sessions was tremendous....far more growth than many of the boys showed. I'd definitely take that option if it's available (without stopping skill training with a private coach). It might pay to talk to the coaches...many wouldn't like it. Our coach didn't mind and it didn't negatively impact my kid's team. The boys don't care all that much and they are very careful about making sure people don't get hurt during the practices.

bellevue hs should be tough in 3A this year, returns 10 seniors from a team that went 8-0 last season
Bellevue is Coached by a great guy and a career that most club coaches could have. Sad thing is the sportsmanship of the team. It is a wrong when players Spit on their opponents during their game against Blanchet. Peter addressed immediately but obviously there are issues there.

was out of character for the player and addressed immediately as you said. nevertheless totally unexcusable and very unlike the team itself which is one of the better tempered groups in the league.

The kid is lucky that she was not, at a minimum, suspended from the next match. From the video, it’s clear she spat at an opponent, which is a textbook red card offense. Seems the Bellevue coach made that clear to her.

If the ref had seen it, definitely would have been a straight red
