This thread is like trying to tell a Trump supporter Biden won. There is no rationality with you people that you can’t distinguish that MK did not get fired from OSU because of TA or working with TA or anything like that. It all was in house at OSU,, that is all.

What happened in house at OSU that was so bad that MK was let go? Doesn’t make sense that anything bad enough to let him go happened and no one heard about it. I’m not the TA issue poster, but I am mad if there was an in house issue that caused MK to be let go and not even any general info was shared with the future possible commits or the next university he went to. If it was bad enough that OSU let him go, why would WSU hire him? Is this one big Catholic Church type good old boys club where they are allowed to move on to the next victims at yet another college? Infuriating. Is this just the case of whining players and parents? Also infuriating and ruins MKs reputation to make princesses happy.

At a minimum, MK knew the info by the time he got to Mississippi State, but everyone in club and college soccer knew what transpired at Miami the week it happened, so it is very hard to believe MK didn’t know. But regardless, the Miami info was public, so why go back to him? It was not a good look. That was enough to ruin the reputation of MK. Hey, I agree, maybe TA wasn't the reason there was a change at OSU, but there is no doubt that the AD’s around these guys are getting word about what took place at Miami. TA was able to move from job to job with the help of other coaches, that is a fact. But if OSU and MK say it was just a matter of COVID-19 then there isn't anything to see, nothing weird about it at all. It was just COVID-19.

After having some conversations with two college coaches on Friday night, both said they also heard about this Miami thing. This is way more than unhappy players. Coaches in all sports at all universities have unhappy players, but coaches don't get moved out because of it. Coaches get moved on when there is a problem.

I did hear from a lot of coaches that these days it is easy to get rid of a coach if they players complain using key phrases like “mental health”, “verbal bullying”, etc. MK worked them hard and a large roster had many unhappy bench warmers. The complainers got what they want and will run the show now. Time to move on.

Strange. So this is the only athletic program on campus that works hard with a large competitive roster and may have had unhappy players? This is the only roster of players that may have had an issue with their coach at OSU? You are saying the AD’s at OSU are not equipped to deal with players that are complaining or having mental health issues? Gosh, coaches at OSU must be removed all the time because they are working players too hard or making them unhappy. This couldn’t be just a women’s soccer issue, could it? So MK was fired because the women’s soccer team were the only athletes with mental health issues on campus and were unhappy because they had to work hard? It’s amazing that the OSU AD’s and athletics staff didn’t have the experience to deal with the situation. The AD just made a decision to terminate without doing a deep investigation? You would think all the years of experience in athletics would have given the AD’s and staff the ability to see entitled players…..or experience enough to see a poor head coach. Huh, it’s all so confusing. Either way MK left OSU because of COVID-19 as stated in the press release, that much we all know.
