Agree, Man these people don’t give up. Still grinding youth soccer axes against a coach. It’s pretty ugly and obviously small individuals. Anyone who can’t cheer for local young ladies at sport should probably sit down and shut up.

A recipe for disaster for the team that has already struggled with culture. Maybe that’s why the two top players left.

I am hearing that MK was let go because of issues prior to coming to OSU. The fact that the players were not having a good experience helped move things along. OSU was not straight about this situation and now the guy ended up at another university. Is this really what is best for our daughters?? Why keep moving these guys around? It seems like a page from the Catholic Church.

Word is MK got to give a final meeting and announce his resignation to the team. I'm just not believing what is being written here to be factual, would not think the University would allow him to say anything at all to the team if it wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Hard to believe either he wanted to leave, or they wanted to make a change based on results after 2 years, could it be that simple?

Whatever you are hearing from others is just a rumor, and unless you get a court order to unmask whatever was said between OSU and MK for when he resigned since he was under contract will continue to be just a rumor. Get enough people to believe what you continue to type and you get the "Big Lie" where have I seen that phrase before, except one has been proven with audits and facts. You also have the right to remove your daughter from OSU if you disagree, he's gone, and yet you still complain. When OSU was winning the previous year were you complaining then? Seemed like it was best for your daughters at that given time when the results were coming in.

Everybody here seems to have an issue with TA, and trying to pin something on MK as guilty by association. NDA says nobody knows the real reason about TA, but anybody can type on a computer and make anything up, and there is absolutely nothing about MK out there of doing anything wrong or any of his other assistants who are all Head coaches elsewhere, I looked as well and everything is leading back to TA and none of the others.

FYI new the head coach, coming from ND, head coach at ND coached with MK and TA in Miami, you guys better get the rumor thread started now if things go south.

I just wish the best for the team, 3 coaches in 4 years is not how some want to spend their playing careers.

He was having sex with more than one player at the University of Miami and got fired because of his actions. MK knew about it, and did nothing. He got back into coaching through back door nonsense and enablers, only to be exposed and then fired again years later. The issue with MK is joined back up with TA at Miss State. He knew about the past issues, and didn't care about all the chaos and trouble that happened at Miami with his boss. Players transferred and some never even played again. So you really think MK should be coaching women after that? Greg Ryan was already fired, but so far the NC State, ECU and Delaware coaches are holding on. They all knew what took place at Miami and did nothing but help him get back on his feet. You don't have an issue with that? You think this is what's best for your daughters? For your club players?

Would OSU really do that? If so, that’s horrible but I sure hope not. I heard it was just whiny parents (probably smoke legitimate whining in there too) and a few posts about an investigation about racial issue. Then he got a good offer from a better school. Why not leave that whining for a better school and admin let’s him leave to make the whiners happy? Now OSU can become Crossfire U and everyone will be happy except the non Crossfire players. Those other players can transfer.

You have full proof that MK and the other assistants knew? You are 100% sure TA did that? Haven’t seen the NDA unlocked to read it like you. Still just rumors galore everywhere here. You talked to MK direct and asked him what he knows? I’m just wondering how you write these things, oh that’s right because it’s anonymous.

Everyone knew what happened at Miami. All the players and staff knew. Perhaps you should ask the question as to why he would go back with him as his assistant years later. Bigger question is why you think this is okay? NDA, lol.

I just don’t believe Miami would let TA resign if in fact what you are saying is true. Any sexual misconduct if they knew he’d be fired, instead of being paid out to leave, and a lot. So you say it’s true because everyone knows.

Well you know TA wasn’t fired at Miss state, and wasn’t fired at UIC either right? Contradictory to what everybody thinks, he left UIC for other reasons..but you knew that.

MK’s background report obviously comes back clean every single time as he has done nothing inappropriate. Once again you and everyone else is upset at TA. Comes back to gross negligence, you say everybody knew…TA denies…and gives his word to assistants that it’s not true..all assistants can say ok…and literally every single person has had zero issues getting a job. Same staff at Miami all worked together at Miss State.

Your word against everybody else’s, and guess what, you are on the losing end every single time. They all can and do work. I did not see one complaint 2 years ago on this board about this. Not one single person upset at MK being hired, or bringing this up. So why now? Your daughter was told she wasn’t good enough? A year ago OSU had biggest turn around in NCAA and everybody was all happy. So this isn’t about what happened in Miami to TA. Somebody’s daughter’s feelings got hurt it sounds like and had a bad experience.

Everybody bashing MK like he did something terrible at OSU, when it’s not true, he didn’t do anything terrible at any job to be honest. You are fighting for straws to justify your reasoning on this. I’m backing him up because I thought he was doing a good job in his short stint. You have your thoughts and I have mine.

University of Miami women’s soccer coach Tom Anagnost was fired unexpectedly Tuesday morning after two seasons on the job.

The news release from the UM athletic department read: “University of Miami Director of Athletics Blake James has relieved head women’s soccer coach Tom Anagnost of his duties effective immediately. A national search for a new head coach has begun.”

Now show me the headline where it shows anything with MK, Or Hamilton, or the HC from ND. Until then I still nothing with MK doing anything wrong, and you are stuck on TA.

Still interesting..TA was able get jobs at other schools, so I’m not 100% sure it was sexual..you don’t now if they asked him to resign and he said no because he’d be paid in full if fired.

He was fired from Miami for inappropriate relations with two different players.

In 2013, on a Monday night, he was fired from the University of Miami, this came after two straight winning seasons and two trips the NCAA tournament coming out of the ACC. Nothing strange about that….

How dd TA get another job you ask? Two years later in 2015, Tom Anagnost was brought in as "volunteer" assistant coach by his good friend Greg Ryan at Michigan (Greg Ryan was fired shortly after). At the time, no background check was needed from HR, as the head coach took care of the background check for volunteer coaches. How many guys need to be brought in as a volunteer assistant coach after advancing to the NCAA tournament two straight years coming out of the ACC conference? Oh, Miami took a chance on him after the scandal that took place at Central Michigan. TA said he didn't see anything unusual happening at Central Michigan during his time as an assistant.

Tom Anagnost, who boasts five years of Division I head coaching experience, joined the Michigan women's soccer coaching staff in January 2015 as a volunteer assistant coach. Most recently, Anagnost was at the helm of the women's soccer program at Miami from 2011-13. He led the Hurricanes to a combined 19-15-5 record and two straight NCAA Tournaments, including the program's first trip to the NCAA second round. Under his direction, Miami qualified for the ACC Tournament for the first time in five years and set several school records, including fewest goals against in a season (19) and shutouts in a season (11). Several of his players earned conference and national awards, including All-ACC Freshman team, and also ranked among the top in the conference in individual statistical categories. Anagnost strived to develop successful student-athletes on and off the field, as his teams boasted the top team GPA in the ACC during his tenure. Prior to taking over at Miami, Anagnost spent three successful seasons as the head coach of Central Michigan's women's program, taking over for Tony DiTucci, who was fired for inappropriate sexual activity, with Central Michigan University paying out $450,200.

Then another friend helped out TA. On March 30, 2016, NC State women's soccer head announced the addition of Tom Anagnost as an assistant coach. "We are very fortunate to add such an experienced and successful person like Tom to the program," Santoro said. "When you rebuild a program, you want everything to be the best it can be and that goes beyond the players to the staff as well. Recruiting has gone well these first few cycles, but I want more, with the best possible coaches for these players. We've done that and then some." Anagnost boasts five years of NCAA Division I head coaching experience and joins the Wolfpack from the University of Michigan, where he was a volunteer assistant for the Wolverines during the 2015 season. Michigan posted a 12-7-2 record (6-3-2 Big Ten) and advanced to the second round of the conference tournament last year. Prior to assisting at Michigan, Anagnost was the head coach of the University of Miami (Fla.) women's soccer program from 2011-13. He led the Hurricanes to a combined 19-15-5 record and two straight NCAA Tournaments, including the program's first trip to the NCAA second round. Under his direction, Miami qualified for the ACC Tournament for the first time in five years, setting school records of fewest goals allowed in a season (19) and shutouts in a season (11).

Anagnost spent a short season at NC State and then moved on to Mississippi State. This was after one short season as a "volunteer" coach for the Michigan Wolverines in 2015, and then less than a year at NC State in 2016. He was hired at Mississippi State following these two positions.

The University of Illinois Chicago (UIC) has announced that Tom Anagnost will not be reappointed as head coach of the women’s soccer program. “We thank Tom for his contributions over the past two years to advance the competitiveness of our women’s soccer program,” said UIC Director of Athletics Michael Lipitz. “After continuing to evaluate all aspects of our program following the completion of fall, we determined that a change in leadership was in order.”

MK knew what took place at Miami and then followed him to Mississippi State. That is the issue!

I’m still not following why your mad about MK working with him. TA was not fired from Miss state, also was not fired for reasons you think at UIC..once again you don’t know ****.

Greg Ryan was not fired because he worked with TA, NC state coach is still there. You are grasping at thin air.

TA DID NOT WORK AT OSU! MK did not get fired at OSU for working with TA! What is wrong with you people for not understanding this.

You don’t have to like MK as a coach, person or whatever vendetta you have, probably told your daughter she sucked and didn’t deserve to play, but he did not get fired because of TA.

Go start a TA thread, you been on his nuts for 18 pages now.

This thread is like trying to tell a Trump supporter Biden won. There is no rationality with you people that you can’t distinguish that MK did not get fired from OSU because of TA or working with TA or anything like that. It all was in house at OSU,, that is all.
