title ix has created a demand for participants at jc, naia, ncaa 1 2 & 3 that exceeds the supply of interested hs girls.

Twisting data for your narrative is a universal tactic my hopeless friend.
Stop making stuff up. Other than a couple of High Schools, most will have 2 or less that get a chance to play at any level higher than HS.

My friend girls that don't even make HS teams in Oregon (those that are cut) actually get spots at NW Junior Colleges due to the low interest in going there, some girls have even gotten athletic aid. Sorry you are so blind to the real world. The supply of graduating HS girls does not meet the demand created by title ix abundant programing in the states. That doesn't mean any Oregon girls are getting loads of athletic aid, cause they ain't--- as such the supply of girls willing to pay full tuition, room & board, transportation costs & book fees for high dollar out of state & private colleges is concentrated at clubs that have parents willing to pay for year round useless travel--which backs up your twisted data point of 90% are able and willing to fork over the monies to cover a high tuition dollar school without any athletic aid-You nailed it.

Title IX Ted is back. Typing away on his 1998 Compaq desktop in his mothers basement.

Let the rage out Ted. Let it out.

So you're putting down junior college. Did you even go to high school, middle school. When do they teach the proper ways to use to, too and two.

No one should disparage junior colleges, especially if students use them as a cheaper stepping stone to a 4 year degree. Not all of these soccer playing kids are smart enough or motivated for 4 year colleges, especially the ones who put soccer over academics for their entire lives. Any road to more education should be applauded.

I’d add that if they can add opportunity to play soccer while going to JC, then more power to them. Down the road, like literally within a year after high school, no one is going to care. Each kid should do what is best for them. Like the Thorns kid who went to Stanford with no soccer instead of going to some lesser school in order to play soccer. Same for the kid who chooses to go to a D2 school to play soccer and become a nurse instead of going to UoP, becoming a nurse and not playing soccer. Or the kid that does the opposite. Every kid is different. My only advice is to consider the long game. I know the local D1 player that got an easy degree & loved playing soccer but wasn’t so happy after college working at the mall and would have done it differently with hindsight.
