This explains why 18 girls on an average Oregon club get some token of aid to participate in college soccer(any level) compared to the same average 18 boys who play for same club boys team a handful of them might get crumbs for college aid if anything. This isn't anyone's point of view, it's a verifiable and documented fact. The concept of Title IX on the whole, is fine. Unfortunately how it's interpreted and executed for the activity of college Soccer in the states is fundamentally flawed and slanted in favor of girls/boys.
This gross disparity of aid in the activity of soccer has given rise at the jr high & senior high level of 'travel' & 'market' my girl for colleges circuit which amounts to a plethora of travel ridden meaningless matches. Which is driven by non-profit coaches who want to make a profit by promoting or hitching their wagon to a laughable mantra that their club club/teams get girls scholarships (when it's just simply a byproduct of title ix in action).
My friend these title ix handouts for girls soccer aren't going away soon they are actually growing year by year. Title IX should be loved by any girl who elects to participate in Soccer, the payouts for landing roster spots on college teams exceed any other american sporting activity based on the number of participants.
Due to title ix this activity women's soccer gives you the best odds of landing aid.
It's an anomaly or a quirk on the whole.
That's just the way it is, hate it or love it makes no difference.
