Given that the B05 team 2 are one of only three Oregon teams to win a game on opening day, and both 05 teams are a combined 1-1-1... they aren't doing too badly.

The problem is you keep ignoring the main subject- many more were “selected” and on the original posted rosters even if some declined. In no way did they deserve those roster spots (including those mentioned). Also many westside kids showed little to no character and integrity throughout the entire training camp with little to no repercussions from the coaches. It was blatantly obvious they felt no need to condition, work or be a part of anything more than themselves because they had already been told they had a spot (both a and b teamers). Exactly the type of behavior that has killed that team from the inside out....
I'll agree that the Colorado contingent is weak (not just the 05s; every team from that state seems to be doing poorly). Colorado ODP has the same problem this year that Oregon ODP had last year; too many DA programs given the available talent pool, and thus a lot of top kids not eligible to do ODP. I'm not at all concerned about the B team losing to SoCal, and consider this a perfectly fine result. It was a mismatch from the opening whistle, and the score is honestly better than I was expecting.
That said, given that two teams were formed, MOST of the original pool got named to one or the other. There were a handful of kids (including some WT kids) that didn't make it onto either Phoenix team. I don't know if you have any particular kid in mind who didn't get invited to go and think was unfairly passed over, or are just blowing steam, but even if your critique that too many WT kids were involved is correct, the suggestion that NONE of 'em deserved it is way out of line. In general, the top large kids were identified and picked for Team 1, the top smaller kids were identified for Team 2. Both rosters have filler you can argue about (it can be argued that the local talent pool isn't big enough to send two teams), and I personally don't think this is the best way to construct a roster, especially if the goal is to win. That said, the top soccer regions (both Californias, S. Nevada, Arizona) are likely to have superior talent no matter who gets picked from Oregon, and in many of these places ODP is a year round commitment, not something that kids do for a month in the winter, on the Prov Park turf, and then fly off to a warm climate to play a tournament on grass.
As for the behavior and attitude of players at training... I was concerned about the overall quality of the pool, and saw a lot of selfish dribbling, standing around, and defensive ball-watching. Such behavior wasn't specific to any club--and the players that do such things in club play were the ones tending to do it at ODP. The club players who can pass the ball well, know how to move into space, and who are intelligent and conscientious defenders, were likewise at ODP. That goes for all the clubs.
I'll admit, I didn't pay much attention to the players jogging around the perimeter, or keep track of who was spending too much time in the loo. I'll let you worry about that, I prefer to watch soccer.

05B Team 1: 2-1-0, win group, advance to semis
05B Team 2: 2-0-1, second in group.

Thank you. For future, any chance you could put standing with total number in group? Like “2nd out of 3 in group” instead of “2nd in group”. “2nd in group” is misleading. You could also put “2nd to last in group” but that is misleading as well. “Only win was against Wyoming/Alaska/Montana” or such should be left off.
