Any team that recruits to win will have turnover. Developing the whole group was never the goal. The goal is to 2-3 players that go into an average college team so the coach can add to his resume.

What odds? This is a group of rich white girls with the majority attending private schools, and who’s parents shell out thousands of dollars a year for a customized pay-to-play travel soccer experience with a coach that guarantees them all play time. No new players even attended the tryout. It’s a travel program more expensive than ECNL and with worse competition.

Ha! Majority at private schools? Not even close. Rich? Maybe a couple. White? Maybe 75%, less than most other teams in the area. Guarantees play time? Thats a good thing right? No new players attended tryouts? Not true, but at this age and with 20 returning players what would you expect.

Whats your issue with this team that you are spouting falsehoods?

So what “odds” are you saying they overcame? Or was that meant to be a joke? Team appears to be more advantaged than anything.

Keep trying. The remaining advantage must be genetic. That would explain your jealousy.

Someone else mentioned overcoming odds, I wrote the above. Given its girls club soccer, I would say that aren't more advantaged than any other club team in the area in socio-economic terms.

The advantage they might have over others is a core team that has been together for a long time and seem to like each other and are committed to playing as a team. That may also be true on other teams.

Thing is, I think most of the kids dont care about ECNL v. GDA v. OYSA. They just love playing the game and have gotten better over time. The bashing of teams is quite stupid. Best of luck to all the players!

Looks like SCA has a sponsor now.

They are sponsored by two companies.

“Boot It” and “Send It” are the official sponsors.

How is GPS 2.0 doing this fine week?

What kit will you be wearing this fall?

What does SCA stand for. I have no idea.

They didn't have enough money for four letters, and had to leave off the M.
