Ask her about HS? She is 13 and she shouldn’t have deep analysis to provide about life decisions. Hopefully their are adults close to this situation with some perspective. Doubtfull—-

Talk about an investment in the women's pro game. Good to be an elite Oregonian girl these days. Incredible stuff.

Sad for the girl to be another Todd Marinovich. If it was about the soccer, she stays in southern cal! The news article said she’d literally be playing for the last place Portland Thorns Academy in the weak Northwest division. Stupidest move to take her out of Beach GDA, unless it’s about media exposure and removing her from proximity to many equal and better players so the gig will be up. Feel really bad for the kid.

Thorns and US Soccer are moving the game forward for girls/women.
It's great to call Portland Oregon HOME!!
Unbelievable!

Publicity stunts are located at US Club Soccer and their social media mantras it's truly so funny:
#NoCeiling
#RaiseTheGame
Tough to raise the game hit the ceiling in this bottomless pit of hashtag nonsene while actual players are getting paid and moving on.

Portland soccer is pretty low quality but if you are just a sideshow attraction it doesn't really matter where you are.

A lot happens between 13 and 18. Puberty. Boyfriends. Body changes.
Someone brought up Todd Marinovich. Can't help but see the parallels.

Go ask her about HS.
Thanks for the laugh! Apples and Oranges. Fully funded professional club academy has not any peer in Oregon club landscape, as it should be.
Well, expect maybe recreational HS soccer, right?
She is home schooled. Hope it works out for her in soccer.

Solo, Wambach..etc. Booze partying and hard drugs hurt them. Marinovich did hard time as I recall.
As a parent you can’t blame yourself.
