I hope they keep thinking that from the first game, unfortunately this is just someone stirring of stuff they have no idea about. Clackamas started out a bunch of individuals and had no idea how to play as a team since they had too much individual talent. They needed more than one ball. They have been slowly figuring it out and hitting their stride when it counts. I know that this is not a Jesuit parent because I know they don't want to play them again unless it is in the finals. Will be a great game if they both make it there. Can't sleep on some of these other teams! West Linn is incredibly strong too. Jesuit may be the favorite and earned that, but to start giving them the title is a little premature. Good luck to all of these teams!

It doesn't really matter any ways since most of the people posting here trying to stir things up are not the ones playing in these games.

I doubt any of the Jesuit parents are posting negative stuff here... maybe of a player who sits on the bench. Jesuit already has a big target on their back so what is the point in making it larger. You are just going to embarrass yourself worse if you don't deliver. There is not point it getting another team more fired up than they already are.

The parents that were on the team last year probably still remember the close games against Medford and Tualatin. The ones who don't remember were not a part of that team and are first year varsity players. They have not earned the right to be cocky.

I am sure someone will follow up with my post and try to post something obnoxious about how great Jesuit and they already have the trophy and the stupid pork chop comment.

None of your business where they are committed to. And to say they were pounded like a pork chop is rude. Were you there? Losing 5-0 was because the team had too much individual talent and that may it hard to play.

The PCC, Trump University, and Pork Chop comments were all rude.

When you do make a statement about a HS team having 10-12 commits, asking where they are committed to is a legit question.

It is not like a top secret question. Most players post something when they commit and it is listed. If you play in showcases, etc... your profile lists the school you have committed to so the other coaches do not waste there time. There is a gentlemen's rule about going after already verbally committed players. I think most players with recruited players understand these dynamics.

Why would you hide where you committed and in the context of the previous response, it was a legit question?

Of the 2019 graduating class there are only 12 commits listed for Oregon. That is a small fraction.

It is a small class. I am surprised there are even 12 D1 commits at this time. 2020 and 2021 have more.

If you say 10% then you are saying there are 120 players in Oregon going to play D1 soccer.

It is all good, but in the context of the conversation there is a difference between a Trump university commit vs. a PAC 12 commit.

If is a GED online then we know it is not a great soccer program.

I usually just throw it on the grill without doing anything to it.

A poem chop is like the pork equivalent to a ribeye. I wouldn’t think you tenderized a ribeye by pounding on it.

Get yourself a meat mallet. You won’t regret it. Marinade works too but you don’t get the satisfaction of pummeling the slab of defenseless meat like Jesuit did to Clackamas.

Speaking of horrible analogies, on why GDA doesn't allow HS Soccer:
