No. Westside took over administrative duties-processing and scheduling.

The Timbers and Thorns already have their training facility in Beaverton. So, they'll continue to rent field space on the east side and west side for their DA programs through their alliance clubs.

Yes, Westside Timbers are in charge of running the day to day operation of the Youth Thorns DA.

Just to make it more complicated, the former OYSA stooges MS & EL now housed at Providence park are overseeing the Westside Timbers operation of the Thorns Youth DA. With GW still calling all the shots.

That's why it's a perfect union. If you want to finally kill of the Thornz Asylum there is no better club to give it to than Eastside. They have a long history of killing off girls soccer at U14.

Pretty simple. Westside is only taking over the administrative side of things, not the program. The Timbers / Thorns are trying to save some money. Increased the fees by 33% and outsourced the administrative functions (for a fee they will be paying Westside.)

Still a deal compared to the ECNL and a revenue stream for Westside they didn't formerly have from girls soccer.

Yes. They haven't had much in the past but that shouldn't stop them from putting something together now.
