    I support this argument.

That is why they will be home in their cramped apartments, drinking cheap warm beer and eating microwave dinners during the World Cup.

The top Oregon players will go D1 no matter which patch they wear. It is mainly the player’s abilities that get them onto D1 college teams. Clubs and leagues help but the good players will go D1 regardless.

Well done CU and all the other D1 commits too!

              Seacoast United joins GDA

Just announced. For a local take on it visit the New Hampshire chat board. Seems like the NH soccer parents are wise to the GDA scam.

So many local girls clubs have D1 commitments, most walk-on's or book monies types. A Very rare breed from an Oregon local club will get much in terms of Athletic Aid, just the way it works for Oregonians. With that said, dilution and club economics pressure girls to stay where they are at, sure some move but most stay put.

With a US Soccer NWSL Thorns DA up an running the influx of high level talent from many clubs is staggering, especially the younger ages it's truly a trend that will continue to keep our local clubs, simply local clubs regardless of league choice.

Interesting that they don’t want the gda. Soccer landscape is constantly changing.

East coast travel is way different even for a New Hampshire team. Plenty of great programs in driving distance. GDA there isn’t subsidized so costs as much as NPL or ECNL. Why on earth would any halfway intelligent parent go for GDA with those circumstances?

You mean the Eastside Thornz Asylum GDA that has zero talent, zero coaching, and zero competition?

Nobody wants the GDA, except the parents of kids that can't make ECNL teams.

Our DD was offered a spot at both CU & FC P (their teams playing in US Club Pacific Div of the Mtn Conf) over the last two years just in case we didn't get selected to the Thorns DA.

Always good to have a backup plan.

Sorry you are so misinformed or just enjoy making things up.

I bet you’re the same guy who keeps saying his daughters HS teammate is ECNL and JV. Nobody cares that you’ve decided you shouldn’t speak the word “ECNL.” Glad you’re happy with your kid’s placement on GDA. I’m sure with all the defections she will get more playing time this year.

What did you do run her around town pimping her to all the local "elite" soccer clubs? Lmfao. You're pathetic. You must do it to make yourself feel good. The "everyone wants my daughter" post must have been burning a whole in your pocket. Glad you got to spend it on here.
