The rules of conduct are clear. Tualatin Indoor doesn’t meet the criteria and the 05 coach isn’t even “Development Academy staff” because he doesn’t have adequate licensing.
“Outside Activity/Competition
Academy players and teams cannot play in any outside competitions without written permission from the Development Academy staff. This includes any other leagues, high school season, tournaments, State Cup competitions, ODP or All-Star events. There are two potential exceptions to this rule, provided they are approved by Development Academy staff:
Domestic and international tournaments: Domestic & international tournaments may be permitted if they meet Academy's technical standards of one game per day and elite competition. Examples of permitted events include the Dallas Cup, Surf Cup, Disney Showcase, and other International events
Possibility for friendly games: Academy clubs can schedule friendly games to provide players with a heightened development experience. The games must not be part of an organized competition (i.e. tournament, league or camp) as defined in the non-participation regulations, and all competitions must adhere to all Academy standards and guidelines.”
Sounds like a group gone rogue. Hope they have THs blessing on this.

My son cross trains three times a week with his DA right now. One day is b-ball, second day is martial arts/combat training and third day is Futsal. Every other week the boys can play a second day of Futsal. There are guest players from other clubs all the time. I guess we just do it differently on this side of the river

So,
Are you going to rat out TA and Westside for playing the tualatin indoor holiday tournament?
And do you suppose we really care!

But you seem awfully concerned about whether all the local DA clubs are dotting every I and crossing every T.
