I have seen coaches who use iPads and phones at tryouts to record player numbers, data/notes about players etc So don't just presume they weren't paying attention (cannot know for sure) These are the modern versions of the paper and clipboard method.

        Update 5/8/17 Noon Thanks EL!

Hold your horses folks 416 girls have registered to tryout for the Girls USDA program tryouts this week. DA for girls with the NWSL Portland Thorns is HUGE!! All the best.

Impressive, since it's funded many will tryout and only a few selected for the DA.

Think you got your decimal point wrong. It's more like 41.6 (the .6 is from Eastside Timbers)

41.6 was the goals against average per team (cumulative avg) after 11 games for the girls teams at FC P and CU. Didn't want to go there, but since you did...them the facts. 41.63 rounded down to 41.6.

Rumor has it they have 15 total as of today. That's great. Almost $2,000 collected for three hours of kick arounds. Capitalism and profits are as American as the WWF.
