There is a listing online of what states and clubs put a ton of kids into college this year.
Oregon wasn't on that list of states and none of our clubs put kids into top colleges with athletic scholarships. Same as it ever was.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostUS Soccer did invite every club in the US to apply, but only a few were selected from across the US. In our neck of the woods none of our local neighborhood clubs were selected as expected. Since we have a NWSL Pro team Portland Thorns US Soccer offered the DA to all the Pro clubs first, Portland took it and is funding it for the girls which is unheard of, that fact alone kept our local clubs out of the DA consideration. Maybe in the future one of our local clubs could be a candidate, it's doubtful with the current talent pool available in the area.
And BTW, there is no women's pro soccer in the USA. It's marginal to call it semi-pro.

Plus the NWSL is very unpopular throughout most of the country. Pro pay is very very low.
Will they last very long? Opinions?
