I also know that we're coming up on tryouts so there are coaches and parents trash-talking or trying to convince others on where to go. Coaches need players or else they don't have a team. So what's really going on at THUSC?

You are so desperate to tear down a program. Why so much energy instead of just focusing on your own choice?

Problem in Oregon Youth Soccer there is now way to measure that anymore as nobody plays for anything. We do have a class of coaches that are 'good' at that for sure. Point taken.

She is out of CU for sure by her own words, wait is the board going to force her to be part of CU just like they forced her out of the Portland Thorns GDA? The messaging is all over the board, no pun intended.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostIn youth soccer, the measure is how many kids they move on to college or pro soccer. By this measure, the ECNL clubs are excelling and the TA clubs are failing miserably. Nobody but cavemen care about wins at U11.
Boys Soccer doesn't have a title IX provision to artificially inflate athletic scholarships like the girls do. So they have very little athletic aid available to them, period.
Girls were getting more athletic scholarships in Oregon prior to the 2 clubs leaving for the ECNL platform so that means prior to this happening there were Good coaches in Oregon based on your criteria. Got it.
Coaches are measured on what they do with their talent in a team environment based on this criteria CU & FC P must have some piss poor soccer coaches that can't get results from the 'talent' that is college bound. That's too bad.
