Players 7-24 are going to be impacted the most with the substitution rules. Coaches are going to have to manage minutes and once you're out, you're out. Top six impact players will play nearly the whole game if not the whole game. The further down the roster the fewer minutes you'll play.

Minimum rosters of 32 is a requirement. 24 pool players though. What can players 25-32+ expect? Are they not permitted to play high school soccer either? Are they permitted to play in other leagues or are they locked in on the GDA roster?

Thorns are not bound by these rules and can do whatever they want. The rules say minimum four practices a week. Ignoring that. The rules explicitedly prohibit a tryout fee. Thorns ignoring that too. The roster of 32? Ignore.

Easy for Thorns to promise roster spots with 32 as their minimum. They have to put 32 down when submitting paperwork (if following the boys rules). I guess we shall see if anyone runs into any issues.

Those rules aren't for the GDA. They are the 2016/17 DA rules. Why not wait and see what the rules for the GDA are for 17/18 before guessing.

The rules should be posted before tryouts and available spots should be posted too. Why the elusiveness?

This is the player pool guidelines. Have you read the boys rules which girls rules are suppose to mimic? Roster sizes are different than player pool players. Come back after you read up on that.
