Do you have to pay or try-outs before they share any info with you?
They'll probably post it online this coming week. But, it is real.

It's so freaking obvious the first five posts of this thread are from ONE poster. Call me out. We can request the moderators to post the IP address.
Obviously this person has an agenda... gda! gda!
Risky business choosing an option with not an ounce of proven record. Lol. Thorns is the backing? That alone should detract ALL decent Oregon players with an ounce of soccer smarts.
Follow proven track records. Or follow a new program. Be the guinea pig!! Cheers to the GDA guinea pigs. All the best.

Originally posted by Unregistered View PostWell the news is out, GDA is here and it's looking to be a top notch program. $2,000 fee and all expenses, including airfare and ground transportation to all games, is included. This will be an unbelievably amazing deal. Coaches will be scouting at state cup games and inviting kids to Thorn practices for ID training before May tryouts.
Thanks again!

These kids are so lucky to have the US Soccer DA & GDA program paid for by Peregrine. The local non-profit kids clubs don't have the business acumen or any type of network full of donors who would be willing to fund this kind of youth centric program that have enormous travel costs attached to them. Once they figure out how to fund it they might be able to compete for the top shelf of players and get into the national league side of this platform. Until then, it's back to work feeding the top of the pyramid.

My daughter is definitely trying out for Thorns DA, but their website doesn't say anything about a flat fee. Thorns DA says everyone will pay a $1600 state fee and everyone will pay a flat fee for travel and that amount is $2545. Keep in mind the flat travel fee says it is an estimate. Some of the estimates look reasonable because they must be driving, but how do you fly, lodging and feed girls for $300 to Vancouver BC. Are they holding the Vancouver Showcase in Vancouver WA?
