Thorns will be lucky if they can draw enough flies to tryouts to fill 1 team - and they have 4 to fill. Can't imagine how bad those teams are going to be. Good thing the rest of the DA league is the same sub-rec level.

How is it that the Oregon based Thorns arent eligible for State Cup but the Wash based FCSC Ellertson, who didn't even play Winter oysa are? I always thought that you had to participate in league to qualify for State Cup.

FCSC competed in FWRL which makes them eligible for state cup in either WA or OR. Obviously, they chose OR as they would get completely throttled in WA.
